 Instantaneous Creation

 One person wrote us saying:
"How is it that I, a very spiritual person, have no problem with the fact we have evolved over time”?
Well, spirituality does not save us - the power of God as seen in instantaneous creation does. Rom. 1:16 says that the gospel IS (equals) the POWER of God channeled towards our salvation. So, what is the power of God? How do we measure it or where do we see it displayed?
God said, “Let there be light” and there was light. With God, “nothing is as good as something to start with.” It is this instantaneous power to create that demonstrates He has the power to recreate or fashion a “new man” out of nothing but His grace and power. It is physical proof reassuring us that salvation is “not of our works, lest any man should boast.”
In Matt. 9:6 people are complaining because Jesus had just forgiven a man his sins. They said that no man has the power to do that. Since they could not see his power to redeem, Jesus gave them a physical example. He said, "So that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”
There are many lessons that Genesis teaches but one of the most beautiful is demonstrating the true power of Jesus. Some day when you need something besides your own goodness to save you, look to the God that can instantaneously create physical and spiritual life where there was none before.
