 The Unsung Heroes of the 21st Century

 What if you inherited an important family heirloom only to discover it was lost in transit? Now magnify that to a nation trying to recover some great artifact of national importance like the Declaration of independence. Then amplify that to a search for a one of a kind, priceless, international treasure the recovery of which, would affect every man woman and child on the planet. How would the world see these tireless explorers who were responsible for the search and recovery of such an icon? They would be called nothing less than Heroes.
There are groups of people that for the last 40 years that have been searching for this international treasure. They are sometimes called Ark-eologists. They are searching the North east face of Ararat where many believe there lays a now broken 5000 year old, 600 foot long ship that housed the representatives of the entire animal kingdom and the survivors of mankind. They seek the legendary vessel of Noah; a box like barge atop the Mountains of Ararat.
Their mission is difficult. Find a speck on the side of a huge mountain. It’s location, overlooking Turkey and Russia, causes political problems. Sometimes denied permits, sometimes attacked by terrorists, falling rocks and ice - what fuels them to brave the hardships of this dangerous, soaring mountain?

Ararat.” Credible eyewitnesses like George Hagopian and Ed Davis from that area describe what it looks like. “An almost limitless number and variety of universal flood legends that can be found in nearly every corner of the globe,”(Secrets of the Lost Races, p. 9) tells them that our oldest, cultural, memories verify its existence. The totality of the information compels some.
Considering the significance and implications of finding such an international treasure of magnificent proportions, these explorers seem rather ignored.
